The vision of the internal UX research team is to establish world-class industry leading best practices in customer research and design. The mission unfolds with a focus on innovation and influencing existing products with evidence based research. The measurement of success is on how we impact the direction of product roadmaps and prioritization of features; however, we must employ proper research methodologies and techniques.

All research has its flaws, but executing best practices massively reduce incorrect data and analysis, providing a solid basis for actionable steps by product owners and engineers. The vision, mission, goals, and deliverables keep HPE focused and efficient, which leads to profits; and we can all appreciate that.
